Automatic reset

The “Auto Reset” data field (formerly “Validity”) can be used to specify after how many days a specific e-learning course loses its completed status and is reset.
Example:
If an e-learning is set to automatically reset after 365 days and an employee (e.g. Frodo) successfully completes it on December 12, 2022, the completed status will be automatically removed on December 12, 2023. Frodo must then complete the e-learning again to regain the status. This status will be displayed both in the employee profile and on Frodo's dashboard.
Important:
Re-running the e-learning before the expiry date does not reset the validity period. The e-learning can only be completed again after the expiry date and automatic reset. The completion date will also only be updated after the expiry date and re-run.
Manual reset
Both HR and the participants themselves can manually reset an e-learning course once it has been completed.
- Information field: The date of the next automatic reset is displayed above the lessons.
Reset by participant
Participants can reset their completed e-learning courses themselves by clicking on the "Reset" button in the information field. After resetting, the e-learning course is moved to the archive, where further information on the reset process can be viewed.
Reset by HR
HR has the option to manually reset the status of all completed e-learning courses of the participants. By clicking on the "Reset" button next to the filter, all already completed e-learning courses are reset.
Notifications
Every time a reset occurs, whether automatic or manual, a notification is automatically sent to the employee. These notifications can be customized in the notification settings to control the flow of information.
