Groups

The "Groups" function makes it easier to manage and assign multiple employees to e-learning, training or other processes in Evalea . It enables you to easily create and manage employee groups.

 

Accessing the Group Function

1. Navigate to Settings: Click on the Settings tab in the main menu.
2. Group overview: Here you will find a list of all existing groups. 
 


Functions of the Group Overview

  1. Search function: Quickly find specific groups by name.
  2. Group Settings: Edit the group name and description.
  3. Participants field: Add or remove employees from the group.
  4. Delete: Permanently remove groups from the system.
  5. Create new group: You can create a new group by clicking on the “+” symbol.



Creating a New Group

1. Set new group name: Give the group a unique name.
2. Add description (optional): Enter a short description of the group, e.g. its purpose or area of application.
3. Save: After saving, you will be redirected back to the group overview.
 


Adding Employees to a Group

Once created, you can add employees to the group. This can be done in three ways:


1. Via email address or personnel number:

  • Enter the employee’s email address or personnel number stored in Evalea .


2. Employee search:

  • Use the search function to find the employee's name. Then click the "Add" button next to the name.


3. Manual addition:

  • In the group’s participant field, you can use the “Add” option to select employees and assign them to the group. 
     


Management of Groups

  • Edit group settings: Click the gear icon of the respective group to make changes to the name or description.
  • Manage employees: Add or remove employees using the participants field.
  • Delete group: Remove groups permanently by clicking on the trash can icon. 
     

 

Notice

Groups make the assignment of processes much easier and save valuable time. Use this function to manage training and e-learning efficiently!

The automatic assignment of employees to groups is possible via a contact import rule .
